Whats a good recipe for salt dough so we can make stuff and how long in the oven to solidify it?

and what's the best recipe for edible playdough?

and how do you keep it/how long does it last?

tbh i wouldnt eat playdough, too much salt in it.

Well I don't want to eat it

It's just I'd like ds and mindee to play with it, but we run the risk of them eating some when I'm not looking/blinking!

Playdough Recipe:
2 Cups SR Flour
1 Cup Salt
1 tblsp Cream of Tartar
2 tblsp oil
2 cups water
Food Colouring

Mix together & stir over medium heat till mixture sticks together like dough. Knead for a few minutes till smooth. (Whilst cooking it goes through a stage of looking very UNlike playdough!)

Stores in the fridge (in bag in marg tub is good) for weeks.
