Just do it without, you probably won't notice the difference.

We haven't been putting in powdered milk in for a while. From anothe rthread it just helps the crust and my loaves have been doing fine.

I've never used milk in any loaves I've made (excpet for fruit bread) and they are all fine.

D'you know, it was superb. However, the machine blew up an hour before the end of cooking (tis officially dead, blew the trip switch 4 times ARGH) so I hastily stuffed it in the oven and it was delicious. Accidentally - I really thought it was a goner!

However, it will be the last one....
