I dont think there is a recommended limit for sugar really. Just try to make sure you brush his teeth twice a day and you should be ok. Could you substitute actual fruit for a fruit pot on occasion?

thank you!! just loves fruit pot so say 5 days out of seven it is them rather than fruit!

What do you mean by sugar though?

Fruit contains sugar, but then all carbohydrates are basically sugars and sugar is what we need for energy, with babies needing quite a bit.

Is the sugar in the fruit pots added sugar or just natural sugar from the fruit?

all natural sugar - but was wondering what the RDA was anyway!
