The doctor says it might be the cause ofmy hellish excema problem.

I cannot imagine being diary free, is there a way I can find out without having to give it all up and then wait and see?

I just want to know without all the hassle

Lie on the floor with one hand straight in the air, get smeone to try to push your arm to the ground - you try to keep it upright. If it stays do it again this time hold a diary product on you chest with your other hand, if you arm is 'weaker' you're allergic.

Seriously - if it was a full on allergy then the docs can do a rast test. But what you describe would be classed as an intolerance so a rast test wont help.

Again, I am no doctor, but have experience of allergies and think you would have to do without dairy for a couple of weeks to see if there is any difference.

Good Luck

Would a couple of weeks be enough stirling?

I think you would know by then if there was a difference but, I am not an expert. The docs may suggest trying for longer.
