I need meal ideas for whole family - me, DH and 10mo

I already make beef casserole, spaghetti bolognese, various roasts and fish pie, but I need more ideas.

I want to be able to cook for me and DH in the evening and then serve up the rest to DS (10mo) for lunch the next day.

I'd like any ideas you have - although looking ahead, I'm particularly thinking of summery suggestions as the above list is rather wintery.

Thanks!

stir fry's, curries etc can all be served to a baby/toddler. I tend to make my curries to mine and dh's taste and then stir in greek yoghurt to make it milder for littlies...

Fajitas very good for toddlers too - wraps with chicken, veg strips, guacamole, grated cheese etc perfect for finger food _ I just serve them all the bits on a plate and let them get on with it

Jamie's Ministry of Food is OK for ideas.

I made his chicken and white wine stew which was delicious and the whole family ate it.

I used skinless boneless chicken thighs which were half the price of chicken breasts and padded it out with red lentils.

Also chicken with creme fraiche is lovely.

Roast off the chicken and any veg in the oven. Remove from oven and stir in half fat creme fraiche warming it over the hob. that is it!

Hot salads are good and cheap.

Just found the recipe for chicken and white wine stew online and will be making it over the weekend - thanks! Assume I would have to leave out wine for DS's portion? Or would alcohol evaporate during cooking? Is that a really dumb question?

Thanks to both of you x

Well it wont make him drunk!!

If you are adding salt and things not suitable for ds it might be easier to put aside a pan with just chicken, veg and tomato sauce and do his separately.
