Can someone tell me a good white bread recipe to use in a bread maker?

Have recently started using a bread maker and brown bread seems to come out fine but white bread doesn?t work properly. It doesn?t always rise well and it comes out with a thick coating of flour which hasn?t mixed in. Anyone found that different recipes work better than others?

MIne sometimes does this and I've found that it works ok as long as i've put the water in first and then the flour and not the other way around as the recipe states.

If it's not mixed well I might try a smaller size rather than a large one.
If it's not rising try increasing the amount of yeast and sugar.
