How much would you pay for these?

My village shop has said it might stock my biscuits and I'm wondering how much to charge.

Bearing in mind they cost about 50p each to make but there is considerable time spent icing / decorating them (an hour for 12 biscuits - more for the spotty ones). I use organic ingredients where possible and everything is done by hand. Mine are about 10cm tall so they are quite big.

The shop charges £1 for a pack of four 3cm x3cm homemade chocolate rice cripsy cakes.

I've seen similar biscuits around for anything from 75p to £5.

What would you say / pay? Would you pay more for some than others?

I pay just under a pound in one local shop for similar things, and I think £1.50 at a local cafe. I wince at the £1.50.

worth talking to the shop though pennies. all you need to think about is what you sell them to the shop for I guess. they'll figure out the final price surely?

Sorry to interrupt but what is sugar paste, how do you make it?

It's in Tewin.

They're stocking some of them today for £1.25 and I'm getting 90p each, which is OK. I hope they sell.

TBh I wouldn't buy them I am totally immune to pester power, (having 5 i have to be or we'd be permantly skint, )

Having said that, I wouldn't want my dc's to have that much sugar paste on a biscuit either, and they're very pretty so they wouldn't want to break them up and share.

Good luck with your venture though, they do look lovely, you could take the theme throughout the year aswell with seasons and festivals.
