A Kenwood chef.

As far as I can tell from the ENORMOUS box it came in it can do pretty much anything. I am a bit overwhelmed by it so anyone got any tips or ideas for getting to grips with it?

Does it do the ironing?

OMG I am so jealous!

You'll have terrible problems...the only solution is to send it to me

No seriously have fun! My mum has had hers for years and years and she is a demon cake maker. She loves her KC

I was overwhelmed when I got mine too. Seriously, it took me ages to use it cos it was so intimidating

I started off using it for things I had done before (cake mixes etc), and then went from there.

Did you get a recipe book with yours? That's good because it uses all the attachments to the max.

Good luck!

janeite - do yo know, I think it might! But then it's possible it may make weapons of mass destruction too! You never know...

Tsarchasm - there was a lady in the queue who said as much and she looked like veteran many an excellent victoria sponge! The other women in the queue were all shooting me envious glances too but luckily the atrocious behaviour of DD2 soon turned their admiration to hatred once she kicked off so there was no room for smugness.

I'm no expert, but check the bottom of the blender doesn't detach when you remove it from the base, like my inferior model did the first time I used it. My dd probably learnt a whole raft of new rude words as I was cleaning up the hot leek and potato soup which covered the kitchen.....
