What brand of Olive oil do you buy from the supermarket?

Just wondered if one brand was considered better than others?

I buy the supermarket own brand.

either Tesco or Filipo Berio (think that is what it is called)

Fillipo Berio - ordinary for cooking, and extra virin one for anything else

Do you think there is much difference between supermarket own brand and a named brand?

I personally think no difference, or not enough to make it worth it. If it's for something other than cooking, maybe, but if I'm just frying onions and mince in it, or whatever, only using a little bit, can't see the point spending more.

i buy el cheapo from iceland for cooking, and a poncetastic one for dressings.

Supermarket own brand for me.

And for cooking the bog standard is fine, you'd be wasting extra virgin etc.
