Oh sodding h*ll I've wrecked the soup

Bgger bgger *rse, I've just spent a couple of hours cooking up some lovely chicken soup and then instead of leaving it jolly well alone, I decided to bung it in the food processor and whiz it up. Now it is brown tasteless sludge.

Anyone got any ideas for making it edible perking it up?

blending it shouldnt affect the taste.

yeah, although I think it tasted rubbish to start with, but at least unblended you could eat a lump of chicken or potato iyswim.

Have given some to dd2 who pretty much lapped it up. Yay. Also dog has scoffed loads. Will feed it to them over the next day or so. Hopefully to no ill effects. It is rather greasy.

Do you know how to make cream of chicken soup? Do you strain off the bits so you are left with a stock and then add cream? Cos the way I did it was awful.
