We are having chicken (and bacon) caesar salad and garlic bread (got to be an easy one as I'm working)

Kids have had 'picnic tea' - crackers and philadelphia, ham, cubes of cheese, apple chunks, raisins, hula hoops, yoghurt

Prufock - do you have a list of what you are having each night? We do that - I could tell you what's on the menu for the rest of the week for both us and the kids. Sad eh!

ds had stir fried rice with chicken, peas, carrots & peppers, followed by ice-cream & a croissant (???). my brother & i had roast chicken, potatoes & peas. i had a pear afterwards. dp had fresh stuffed pasta with tomato sauce. god, life would be so much easier if we all ate the same thing. and the kitchen would be cleaner....

darlingbud · 19/04/2005 21:35

I have also just made a slimming world bread pudding for the first timeso had a clice to see what its like - its yummy BTW.

6 slices of a 400g wholemeal loaf of bread made into crumbs
2 eggs, beaten.
2 tsp mixed all spice
3 tbsp artificial sweetener
170g mixed fruit.

mix altogether and bput in a loaf tin for approx 40 mins on 180 degrees and cook until firm to touch. Seve warm.

Low fat and yummy.

juniperdewdrop · 19/04/2005 21:35

dh has gone to watch his footie team play so I ordered Domino's pizzas for the boys and I I had what should've been steak melt but they'd ran out of steak so had to have chicken and the boys had ham and pineapple.

TwoIfBySea · 19/04/2005 21:37

Keeping it simple tonight as dh was on his day off. So just salad and new potatoes with a few slices of nice cold ham from the butchers. Nothing special.

I made some of that soup too, Nigella's with the frankfurters. Half the amount as it is in the fridge for my lunch!

PuffTheMagicDragon · 19/04/2005 21:37

cod, if you see this, can I have the recipe for the lemon and caper sauce?

Crackers about capers I am.
