And how do I get to it?
Is it the bit between the fruit and the peel?
If so how do yiu get it without the peel as well?

it is the peel / juice in the peel.

the pith is the white bit between the fruit and peel , you dont; want that

do you have a zester?

MrsMcCluskey · 13/03/2009 18:42

oh bless you! It's the outside yellow bit- avoid the bitter white underneath. You can use a sharp knife to get it off

MrsMcCluskey · 13/03/2009 18:43

Ledodgy · 13/03/2009 18:44

Use the tiny side of a cheese grater the bit that looks like little craters iyswim.

MrsMcCluskey · 13/03/2009 18:44

ok so I have a fine grater so grate the peel? that just seems wierd!
But thanks!

It's the scrapings off the peel. Don't go too deep or you get the pith (white part) too. Any grater will do
