can you use frozen chicken in a slow cooker

i want to make a curry in the slow cooker i have frozen chicken but thats all

I would have thought so, we cook meals in the slow cooker with frozen beef. As long as it is cooked through it should be fine.

ive got a pork shank in mine at moment which went in frozen! i cant see a problem as long as its cooked properly!

i am not keen on defrosting in micro as it seems to partly cook it

Curry takes no time anyway. I'd leave the chicken out to defrost and make it 30 mins before you want it.

thanks for all your advice, i am sure it will be fine as others say on here they havent had any probs up to now.

i am going out to work so i wouldnt have 30 mins later on hence why i wanted to get it in the slow cooker now.
