Can I use substitute porridge oats with ready brek for biscuit recipes???

I want to make something oaty but have hardly any porridge oats left but loads of ready brek! Is ready brek essentially finely ground porridge oats??

Depends on what you are making.It won't give the texture porridge oats give.
