Having about 6 people round on friday for a babyshower type affair! However 2 of them need to have gluten free food and one vegetarian too. Any suggestions? Happy to do finger type buffet food or a few proper dishes that need cutlery. many thanks in advance. x

pastry-less quiche is a good gluten free dish to make. It can be finger food if cut into squares. You could also get ready to eat stuffed vine leaves. I will keep my thinking cap on....

Good thinking! Thanks for that. Would you just do a usual quiche filling and line the tin?

All things we cook at home:

Cold spanish omlette cut into pieces.

Jacket potatoes with different fillings.

Vegetarian chilli ( I use organic chilli beans from waitrose with some onion, pepper, courgette and tinned tomatoes) and rice with corn tortilla chips guacamole and salsa.

Butternut squash risotto

Gluten free pizzas with different veggie toppings.

Chickpea veggie curry with rice

Vegetarian moussaka made with puy lentils

Cake recipies we just substitute gluten free flour.

They're great ideas, thanks sooooo much. Good to know you can just substitute flour with GF flour. brilliant!
