corned beef hash

jacket potato and bake beans

sausages with swede&carrot mash, gravy, mint sauce, roast potato, sweetcorn (so a roast dinner with sausages as the meat, cook them in the oven for 45 minutes to an hour slowly and get ride of the fat a couple of times through the cooking)and cook the stuffing up to go with the meal.

pasta with bacon bits and cheese sauce - so like macaroni cheese and bacon.

dried apricots, put in the equivelent of water to make a compote, in the saucpan and simmer , make eggy bread and have with the compote for breakfast of a weekend.

Porridge and cranberries.

oooo sure we can get lots of meal out of that.

you could do a leek and potato soup - just use a bit of milk instead of cream - will be fine. Make a big pot and then freeze some for another meal.

Bacon and onion hotpot (using the bacon bits.

Make a basic white sauce (butter - or marg will do the job if you've got no butter), flour and milk. Thinly slice potatoes, chop onions. Lightly grease a oven proof dish so it doesn't stick. layer up with potatoes at the bottom then bacon and onions, finishing with a layer of potatoes. Cover with foil and put in oven for approx 1hr on 200c

Fish fingers, potato wedges (homemade, just wash potatoes and cut into chunks, chuck in the oven until they're cooked through) and either baked beans or veg/peas

Sausage you can use for toad in the hole

Corned beef hash

Chicken you can roast, use some for a roast dinner, then use left overs to make something (mind gone blank)

ermm - loads of stuff - I'm sure someone else that is more awake than me will come along with some ideas - and I'll be back in the morning with more.

Breakfasts you can use the cornflakes, wheat biscuits and then do porridge with the oats.

you can roast the chicken then use some cold in pasta salad the next day and make soup with the bones.

a few ideas:
Corned beef hash using corned beef, onions, potatoes. Serve with bisto gravy

Chicken:
Meal 1: roast chicken, roast potatoes, & veg. Serve with stuffing and bread sauce ? you?ll use less chicken

Take leftover chicken off the bone, freeze in two lots, use later for meal 2 with Chasseur sauce (tin) and if enough meal 3 with red wine sauce (bulk out with veg)
Serve with noodles

Boil up chicken carcass with onions; remove carcass and take off any chicken. Make a broth and serve with dumplings

Make cauliflower cheese with cauli and cheese sauce mix. Serve with sausages.

Make lasagne using your tinned minced beef and peas, adding tomato paste

Use naan bread as pizza base: top with tomato paste, onions, cheese (bacon bits if you can spare them)

Bananas & custard

Make soup with storecupboard chicken stock and your choice of veg; freeze cos you?ll make loads. Add noodles for bulk.

Buy some very cheap plain flour and make pancakes

Add dried fruit, apricots, cranberries to your porridge oats to make muesli

Boiled eggs, mixed with cooked leeks & cheese sauce, topped with mashed potato

Lamb knuckles served with mint sauce, any type of potatoes, veg
Ditto pork chops

Pasta, cooked gammon steaks, sweetcorn, mayonnaise for a pasta salad

Fishfingers & beans
