What can i do with smoked salmon, lemons and pasta?

i have some lovely oak smoked salmon slices in the freezer. i bought them 75% off on quick sale and haven't got to using them yet.

i used to do something with lemons and pasta but can't remember what!

any ideas?

cook pasta, squeeze lemon over it, festoon with carefully sliced salmon?

creme fraiche, lemon rind, black pepper and pasta would be yummy... simple but v good!

Make a salmon pasta salad? Throw in some broccoli and pine nuts and there is lunch topmorrow.

ooh, it had creme freche in..any garlic do you think?

i would say no to the garlic - keep it simple - if it's good salmon you'll ruin it with the garlic. you seriously can't go wrong with creme fraiche, lemon rind, black pepper and smoked salmon - and I recommend tagliatelle as the pasta of choice with that!

fry onions slowly so they caramalise, add garlic and lots black pepper. add stock cube and creme fraiche (and water if needed). Stir in cooked pasta and then slices of salmon.

If you have parmesan or fresh basil leaves add those too..

can also add some cherry tomatoes cut in quarters at same time as garlic if you have any.
