LOL. Try harder with the onion bhaji or the duck. The others are out and out foul.

pud1 · 24/02/2009 13:22

tbh cant get the egg flavour out of my mind from the builders breakfast

I didnt think much of the ones I tried either. The chocolate and chilli made me feel sick. The onion bahjis tasted just beef crisps.
Not worth all the hype

Molesworth · 24/02/2009 13:23

The onion bhaji ones are the least offensive, but I think I'll be sticking with cheese and onion!

Molesworth · 24/02/2009 13:23

Egg crisps
Fish crisps

wrong wrong wrong

bruxeur · 24/02/2009 13:26

Charlie Brooker was very funny about these in the Guardian last week. So much so that I am never going to go near one of them now.

PestoMonster · 24/02/2009 13:26

What were the cajun squirrel ones like?

[optimistic emoticon]

Hangingbellyofbabylon · 24/02/2009 13:27

I would normally love to try all of them but am pregnant and made the mistake of trying the weird eggy ones last week, the thought of them still makes me heave now. No chance of me opening the other flavours in the near future.

EyeballsintheSky · 24/02/2009 13:27

Spicy and not much else. I didn't get any hint of squirrel at all...

OhYouBadBadKitten · 24/02/2009 13:28

I liked the fish and chips. The chilli and chocolate was one of the most revolting things I've had in my life. not tried the others.

PestoMonster · 24/02/2009 13:29

Thank you. I probably won't bother with 'em then!

wordgirl · 24/02/2009 13:30

I must be in a minority of one because I didn't actually mind the chilli and chocolate .

dearprudence · 24/02/2009 13:31

Have only tried builders breakfast and the egginess was so vile. I was fascinated though because you could taste all the elements.

pud1 · 24/02/2009 13:32

i wonder what heston would make of it all

OP posts:
Iklboo · 24/02/2009 13:33

I don;t like any of them either - the only ones I can sort of get along with are the Cajun --chicken- squirrel ones. But somehow I always feel nauseous when I eat them.

AND they're only 25g bags instead of 34.5g for the same price!

LadyOfWaffle · 24/02/2009 13:35

Onion Bhaji was the best and I hate them. DH brought them all home last week Duck was just too teasing, wanted real duck! Builders breakfast tasted ( and smelt) of builders farts, fish and chips tasted of what the workers smell like, didn't try squirrell and the chilli & chocolate was gross.

eandh · 24/02/2009 13:36

dd2 is currently happily munching on chilli and chocolate ones

Hangingbellyofbabylon · 24/02/2009 14:22

oh feck, just opened the fish and chips flavour and made the mistake of trying one... I love fish and chips, these do not taste or smell of fish and chips - they smell like someone with a personal hygiene problem. Vile.

ChopsTheDuck · 25/02/2009 13:08

cajun squirrel has overpowering taste of oregano and wasn't actualyl meaty at all.

Didn't like the fish and chipos neither, jsut fishy and did smell like BO.

I thinkt he duck was ok, but tasted more of hoisin than duck.

The bhaji one is my favourite and the only one I think I'd actually buy again.

forevared · 25/02/2009 15:49

I think I'm the odd one out here. I really liked the builders breakfast and love the cajun squirrel flavour. Onion bhaji was nothing special. Fish and chips - yuk. As for the chilli and chocolate - all choclate, no chilli, a crime upon my taste buds!

Nabster · 25/02/2009 15:51

I have only had the fish and chips flavour and I thought they tasted as they should.

HensMum · 25/02/2009 15:54

I've had the onion bhaji, builders' breakfast and duck and hoisin and I liked them all.
However, they've all repeated on me really badly. I made the mistake of eating the duck ones at about 10.30 this morning and I've been burping them ever since.
I thought that the bags seem bigger than normal? Mind you, I don't eat a lot of crisps, I just feel obliged to try all the flavours...am obviously a sucker for marketing I'll probably even end up voting.
