Watch Masterchef. Every bugger on there cooks scallops.

Just panfried is delicious.

DH does them with a butternut squash puree and fried pancetta.

24?! How much did that cost you?!

Best way is in butter and oil. Season scallops, then make sure frying pan is really hot. Cook for a minute on each side - no more. They should be lovely and soft on the inside.

Squeeze of lemon, but nothing else.

I used to have steak and scallops when DP was away - fried for about a minute (incl, roe).

Wrapped in a bit of streaky bacon and grilled.

Yum..they all look good thanks!!!

They were incredibly cheap...caught by a fisherman in Hastings and bought fresh today..£6 per 12..!!!!

With choritzo(sp?) or if you can get it,pan fried on a bed samphire (obviously, not at this time of night)-keep it mind for next time though!

of your 24 scallops-we usually only have a few each

I like them panfried with bacon and cabbage.
