Takeaway - its Dh's birthday and we cant get a babysitter . There is a cheap and cheerful affair in Elstead, but it would be nice to get a really special takeaway iykwim.

Thanks for the warning about the Milford Chinese Lou - will stay well clear . Ggglimpoppo (you could have chosen an easier nickname! ) I like your sense of priorities (Chinese to go with the Champagne, rather than the other way round LOL ) - a woman after my own heart

I think the Lotus House (?) in Godalming is supposed to be good.

BTW - Zaffran Indian at Beacon Hill is EXCELLENT!

When dh used to live in Farncombe, we used the Farncombe Tandoori quite a bit. (Was about 10 years ago mind!). Food was good. Will have a think and post again if I think of anywhere in Farnham etc.

Agree with Lou about the Milford chinese - it's pants! Our favourite is the 'Forum' in Godalming. It's quite close to the Lotus houseand a restaurant, but they do do take-away.
