Or is everyone just keeping quiet? I'd never seen one until J Oliver, but I gather they fly out of supermarkets. So who buys them?

Whenever i cook twizzlers in the oven, they expand so much they look like they are gunna lunge out at me!!

iota · 11/04/2005 21:23

what's in them:

One listener to my Lite fm breakfast show this week actually admitted to dishing up Turkey Twizzlers to his kids at night, because they are "quick and easy."

Take a look at the ingredients list of these Twizzlers. (Turkey 34 per cent, water, pork, fat, rusk, wheat starch, salt, potassium chloride, hydrogenated veg oil, citric acid, smoke flavouring, colour E160c + E162, mustard flour, sweetener E304 E307 E330 E300.) The 34 per cent meat content is ridiculous, and aside from the bulking agents, it is also filled with just about everything dieticians are trying to reduce from our kids' eating habits.

from here

they could make good earrings

Blossomhill · 12/04/2005 18:11

I actually think it should be under the child cruelty act to give your kids twizzlers. I wouldn't feed them to an animal they are that bad.

Enid · 12/04/2005 20:13

omg that website with the turkey 2004 is...well I am really, really shocked, I actually had no idea there was food like that out there, he needs to be closed down!!!!!!!!

vict17 · 12/04/2005 20:15
