Can I refreeze aubergines that were frozena nad have now defrosted?

Help!!

I defrosted the freezer yesterday. I have bought some 'DELIA Cheat' aubergines but they have thawed out. Can I cook them and refreeze? It does actually say on the packet do not re-freeze but I do it all the time with other veg like onions and peas.

Advice please.

Thanks RIMOV. They are from ASDA, they are sliced and pre -cooked, it saves you salting them to get rid of the bitter taste.

i've never salted either. They have bred the bitter taste out of them these days.
