spag bol in slow cooker

My children are very fussy about casseroles and seem to hate what I have cooked so far in my new slow cooker!!!

Their favourite meal is spag bol so I am hoping to do that in the slow cooker ready for when we get home from school tomorrow.

Can anyone give me a good, plainish recipe please?

Thanks

Well I do mine in the slow cooker but I use a packet mix in it so not sure if that is what you would want, but anyway........

I fry off some onions, mushrooms and mince, add it to the slow cooker with 2 grated carrots a generous splash of worcester sauce, 2 table spoons of tomatoe puree and a spag bol packet mix, mixed into a tin of tomatoes not water.

I have tried loads of different ways of doing it, but this one definatly goes down best in my house.

yes i can!! I did this the other day and it was lovely, very plain......
1 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 lb lean mince
1 onion chopped
2 celery sticks (didnt have)
1 crushed garlic clove
400g can chopped toms
1tbsp pl flour
2 tbsp tom puree
1/4pt beef stock
4 oz mushrooms sliced
1tsp mixed herbs
salt and pepper

preheat on high
heat oil brown mince
add onion and celery and garlic cook for two or three mins
blend some of the tom juice with the flour to make a smooth paste, stir into beef with remaining toms and puree bring to the boil, stirring continuously
add rest of ingredients bring back to boil
transfer to the slow cooker
low for five to eight hours
stir well and adjust seasoning before serving!

Thank you both - they sound perfect.

I will give it a go and if they don't eat it will ram it down their throats (only joking but I am veggie so do not eat meat and there is more than enough in the frezer for dh from my previous forays into slow cooker land )
