... and I'm struggling tbh, and getting a bit fed up and discouraged about it all. Does anyone want to join me in a 'cheap shopping bootcamp'?
We don't have a freezer or a large fridge, our kitchen is approx 3ft by 4 ft with very little storage space for bulk buys, no worktop space for a slow cooker, I'm coeliac so can't do bread/flour except GF which is quite expensive (I can get it from doctor, but I pay prescription fees so that means £5 for a loaf of bread or a pack of pasta!). I have £75 per week to spend, inc all toiletries and household stuff. There's only three of us, but DH eats enough for two or even three
I do menu plan & cook from scratch. Last week's shop came to £98 and we can't afford to sustain that. I know I can reduce my weekly shop, but would like to have some buddies to scrimp along with me. Anyone up for joining me? Just to keep our motivation up for reducing the weekly shop, using new recipes and planning together?
