how to use halva, rosewater and dodgy white wine

Hi, I have been given all these things and would like to use them creatively, rather than just filing them at the back of a cupboard.

Anyone got any idea how to use them? Not necessarily together!

Can use white wine to replace some of the stock in a risotto.

No ideas about the other two, sorry.

You can use rose water in desserts. I make a fruit compote that has a bit of it in . Also ok in fruit trifles,

Halva - just eat it an enjoy it.

If you want to be indulgent, crumble it, dip marshmallows in melted (good, dark) chocolate, then roll in the halva.

Put the rosewater in your bath. For ultimate indulgence eat the halva while soaking in your rosewater bath. If the white wine is dodgy, pour it away and stick a candle in the bottle to light your indulgent bath.

Or cook with it. Fish or chicken simmered in white wine with tarragon, black pepper, bay leaf and a stock cube is quite nice.

Rosewater in the bath - great idea! May also try with fruit.

You eat the halva, obviousl. You're not meant to do anything else with it.

But, you can always send it to me if you don't want to eat it. I love a bit of halva with my cup of tea...

mmmmmmm I want halva and I want it now

This thread is to blame for the fact that I am now scoffing toast with tahini and honey...the closest I could find to the taste of halva

Rosewater is nice in fruit salad or to make ice cream.

Halva nice with bit of honey.

I liked the idea of bath with rosewater while eating the halva
