Inspire me someone please! I do a mince-based meal once or twice a week. At the moment the things I do are:
Lasagne
Shepherd's Pie
Spag Bol
Burgers
Meatballs
I could do chili but the children won't eat it. Any other thoughts on how to feed a family of five with a pack of mince?

Stuffed peppers?

Asda Online have a very simple recipe...

...but I make it up as I go along, really. Fry up some mince with lots of garlic, diced onion, peppers & whatever other veg I have, plus whatever herbs/spices I fancy, mix it in with cooked basmati rice and something wet to make it flavourful - stock, passata, some sort of sauce - then slice the top off red or yellow peppers, stuff the mixture in, stick the top back on and roast for 30 mins-ish. Lovely jubbly, as Oliver would say.

Lamb mince goes very well when fried with onion and garlic and a big spoon of dried mint and a pinch of cinnamon. Then add some tom puree and a bit of boiling water and simmer.

Chuck in a can of chickpeas and some aubergine thats been chopped up and fried til soft. When its all combined put it in a casserole and cover with grated cheddar and bake for a bit.

If that sounds faffy it really isnt and it tastes nicely moroccan-ish.

you could also do keema

lamb mince fried with onion and garlic, add salt, tsp of garam masala, grated root ginger, chopped chili (or not), lots of frozen peas, and a bit of boiling water. Simmer. When water is mostly gone, serve with rice or naans. to do it 'properly' add lime juice and coriander!

So, basically, don't forget lamb mince!
