Delia's salmon with a topping of peccorino cheese, pesto and breadcrumbs. SImple and delicious. Youc an prepare earlier, pop in fridge and then just gook when you need them. Looks nice on the plate and is lovely tasting. I usually serve with mash or a green salad or both!
Let me know if you would like the recipe.

Ivykaty44 · 03/02/2009 19:08

I would do a casserole such as hungarian goulash - nice and warming on a cold winter night - serve with rice, and green vegtables.

The thing with goulash is it will not matter if you eat it an hour later or an hour and a half later - takes a while in the oven so you could make it tonight and put it in the firge and pop it back in the a slow cooker tom eve.

Deliah's goulash is really good.

daisycat01 · 03/02/2009 19:23

ooo can I have the recipe for the salmon. Is peccorio cheese parmesan?? Just looked at doing a beef casserole but that just seems boring.
WHats in goulash???

Delia Smith's Mushroom risotto recipe is easy, tastes fab and the ingredients are all in the local supermarket. I use sherry in place of Madeira.

Ivykaty44 · 03/02/2009 20:42

goulashes, red wine, (no problem if your pg, as you need to cook of the red wine) flours, and a handful of windmills.

I love it in the winter as its really warning and gets in your cockles

OneTrickMummy · 03/02/2009 20:44

Windmills?

mckenzie · 03/02/2009 21:38

I found the recipe online!

GColdtimer · 03/02/2009 21:58

come on, I want to go to bed but am intrigued about windmills.

Ivykaty44 · 03/02/2009 22:28

You get them from the windill farm Wink

notamumyetbutoneday · 04/02/2009 08:30

fajitas

could do chicken and a bean one for any veggies

oxocube · 04/02/2009 16:56

Delia's salmon with black bean salsa is divine and mostly prepared ahead. Everyone who has eaten this loves it. Its on her website and is dead easy. You could do little roast potatoes with it and the salsa is gorgeous. Cheesecake for pud or shop bought lemon tart?

GossipMonger · 04/02/2009 18:43

what did you mean really when you wrote windmills ivykaty???
