Coconut Milk/Coconut Cream/Creamed Coconut

Basically, what are each of these for? I keep using coconut milk to try to make a sauce, and it ends up runny. I used creamed coconut to make a sauce, and it ended up greasy and a bit too coconutty, so to speak.

So what is each for?

What kind of recipe are you trying to follow?!?!

Coconut milk is usually used in curries to make them creamy.

If it's a recipe, I'm fine, I just put in the one they say. It's more of a problem when I'm just putting something together, if you know what I mean.

Whenever I cook with coconut milk, it ends up wattery. Oh, except when I use it to make satay sauce, that works fine.

I buy Bart's coconut cream (blue carton) and it gives a nice thick creamy sauce. I used coconut milk on sunday and it's too watery for the recipe I was trying so tonight I used Coconut Cream and it was lovely.
