dip a strawberry in melted white chocolate, holding onto the green stalk part. leave to cool, do a plate full, looks great!

leave a tiny bit of the strawberry uncovered, colours look great

posh crisps and homemade dip -

1 tub full fat creme fraiche (low fat makes a sloppy dip)
1 garlic or pepper boursin
freshly ground black pepper or 1 clove of garlic popped through a press

beat together

yum

Pigs in blankets
Prunes/apricots wrapped in bacon
Belinis - mini drop scones (buy in or make yourself) with cream cheese and a bit of cheap caviar or smoked salmon on top.
Smoked salmon on brown bread (crusts cut off) with lemon on the side
Cocktail sausages cooked in honey and wholegrain mustard or mango chutney (very sticky - don't forget the cocktail sticks)
Little yorkshire puds with roast beef and horseradish.

Liking the strawberries - you could do dark chocolate too. Cherries dipped in dark chocolate are gorgeous (but not everyone likes cherries).
Little merrangues dipped in dark chocolate with a bowl of whipped cream on the side (I did this a christmas - really good but very naughty!).

Put on a nice plate, decorate with a couple of rose petals and enjoy!

Fruit is a good one to take as you can leave the option to be naughty with the calories up to them. A nice plate with mouthful slices and chunky pieces - strawberries, pineapple, melon, mango etc - and a bowl of dipping chocolate sauce in the middle. Little pile of kebab skewers on the side - I cut mine in half so they have a blunt end - will look great.

Once, when feeling a little arty I got a big silver tray and laid the fruit out like a rainbow of colours - dark red cherries, line of raspeberries, strawberries, orange mango, yellow pineapple, green starfruit and blue blueberries. At the bottom of the rainbow I had a few bowls - 1 with white choc sauce, 1 with milk and a bowl full of multi coloured sprinkles. I just popped the bowls of dipping sauce in the microwave to warm through.
Very, gets people talking and quite social thing to do, making fruit kebabs!
