I have got a huge bag of potatoes that needs to be eaten but i dont know what to do with them. I normalyl mash them but am bored of that now.

thinly slice, pour over equal quantities of cream and milk, as much salt as you can bear and lots of garlic and boil

you can then flake smoked peppered mackeral through if you like that, or bacon, add fried onions and mushrooms maybe
