I made this for lunch today and it was so utterly delicious I have to recommend it to you all.
It's beef in stout with a cheese scone topping. 1.5kg of beef costs about £6 form a butcher so it's economical too!
(I found it needed longer than he recommended for the first cooking stage - about 2 and a half hours before you add the topping should do the trick).
