I am desperate for a recipe for sour cherry and port salad dressing.

The co-op are currently doing little mini sachets of this stuff in with their bags of salad. However they don't sell the actual salad dressing seperatly. I love it and if I could buy some or make some I think I would eat nothing but salad and lose loads of weight.

Please help, I've googled but no luck.

Surely though you could just do some experimenting? Greek/Middle Eastern groceries often do sour cherry juice (in tetrapaks, along with peach nectar/pomegranate/other exotic fruit juices). Get a miniature of port (from similar sort of shop) & get mixing.

Another thing which is moreishly divine as a dressing, which you probably know about but I'll say anyway, is very nice olive oil with balsamic vinegar. I can drink that.

But what else might be in it? Would there be some sort of olive oil base to it do you think? Thanks.
