It is gorgeous!!

It was in the magazine with the Observer on Saturday.

Obviously, I made enough to last a week so I am glad it is good.

Let me know if you want the recipe.

Also, it said use 3 chillies. I used 2 and it was plenty hot enough (and I love chillies).

I am making the yellow split pea recipe tonight - if I can get off the computer!

Tinker · 20/01/2009 19:28

Just eaten it. Nice but I didn't read recipe properly and only added a can of beans not 400g of dried beans. So, a bit thin (it did not look like the photo) but still tasty. Actually, woudl be lovely blitzed up as a soup.

CountessDracula · 20/01/2009 19:38

thanks deleted
Will try soon

We had it last night. I did about 2/3 recipe - only used 2 tins of beans and 1.5 tins of tomatoes (rest went into kids tea!). And I used a sachet of creamed coconut rather than waste the rest of the tin. It was absolutely delicious, and I'm looking forward to scoffing the rest for my lunch!

StirlingTheStrong · 21/01/2009 12:51

Just finished it off over a baked potato - still lovely!!
