chicken & apple balls & bang bang chicken

I have just made some home made nuggets and they have gone down a storm, so i have gone through the recipes on site and wondered, can you freeze bang bang chicken and the chicken balls before freezing?

Also, I am going to make burgers for the first time and wondered, what sort of stuff should i add, my kids aren't too keen on spicy food.

yes t o freezing bang bang chicken...preparem wrap in cling film and freeze without cooking

Bubbles, I'm planning to make the chicken and apple balls tonight and intend to freeze them uncooked. The recipe doesn't give any guidance but I think it should be fine.

so long as the chicken you use is fresh and not pre frozen, you can freeze both recipes uncooked.

i.e. you didn't defrost the chicken before you used it.

i made the nuggets the other night and they were fab, and also now have a abatch in the freezer for during the week

Here you go purplelumpy.

Annabel Karmel's chicken and apple balls

3 chicken breasts or 6 thighs
1 apple
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
pinch herbs
half onion chopped finely
1 stock cube (I use a teaspoon of stock powder)
2 tablespoons fresh breadcrumbs
flour
oil

mince chicken in food processor, grate apple, add lemon juice to apple, mix together chicken, apple, herbs, onion, stock powder, breadcrumbs

flour hands and shape into 10 gol fball sized balls.

Shallow fry in oil until golden for about 6 mins.

(Also works if you bake them in the oven about 10 -15mins at 180 deg)
