What size slow cooker for a family of four?

I got this one as a wedding present and I love it!

It is very big though, I use it to make lots then freeze some

I have the same one as MacDog, for a family of five. It is really worth getting the larger one (and the oval shape is good) if you plan to do joints in it. Also like Macdog, I make larger quantities and freeze. Well worth it.

ooh lovely thanks for your replies ladies. I will check out the link - I've done some looking and the delonghi one comes out well as does the crock pot one (but that seems to be £££).
