Is it safe to eat raw vegetarian christmas mincemeat?

We have several jars of christmas mincemeat left-over, they are vegetarian.
My 16y old would like to eat "festive toast" - is it safe to make toast, spread it with raw mincemeat and eat it?

What's in the ingredients? If nothing that needs cooking and it's been kept sealed etc will be OK I reckon - and as veggie can't imagine anything dangerous in there.

Well, only thing that I was doubtful of in the ingredients was the "vegetable suet"...I guess that's lumps of vegetable fat...[ewww!]
All jars have been kept sealed.... don't know why I bought so many!!!
She's eaten it now - said it was nice and has no tummy ache yet.... I did ask her not to until I had found out - but she insisted her veggie friend at school often has "festive toast" and is fine!
