Probably a very daft question - can I heat rotisserie chicken from cold in the microwave?

I probably should know this but I'm not used to microwaves, so I don't

I got some hot rotisserie chicken legs for dinner, but DPs just announced he's not going to be here on time to eat with us. Can I heat his from cold when he gets in?

If it is OK, how long would I need to do it for?

Awww. Am I to be punished for never having lived with a microwave before?

I'm pretty sure it usually says on the packaging to either eat it straight away or serve it cold. I wouldn't risk reheating chicken personally.
