Lentil, Red Onion and Baked Sweet Potato soup?

How does this sound?
Just experimenting really.
Have fried onions, boiled the lentils and sweet potatoes are in the oven, so can adapt if necessary.

Hmm - the sweet potato is now cooked so I mashed up the three ingredients (lentils boiled in water with stock cube added) and now thinking of adding egg to the mash, covering it in breadcrumbs and making a veggie-cake.
Think I will divide up the mix so I can do both [greedy emoticom]
