am preparing our dinners the night before, in keeping with my organised plan lol.

but I need to know if I do something such as beef casserole, prepping it all the night before do I have to store it in the fridge overnight & put it on in the morning, or can I leave it in the main pot thingy overnight?

will have veg gravy & meat in it.

thanks.

oh & any other recipes will be appreciated.

I would put it in the fridge, then put it on to cook in the morning.

I do lots of casseroles in mine. Just adapt the time, and put a bit less liquid in, because the steam recirculates.

My favourite though has to be puddings. I do a mean rice pudding that everyone fights over. Ordinary rice pudding recipe, cooks in 4-5 hours on low. Sponge puddings are the biz! Just follow an ordinary recipe, put the mixture in a separate dish with foil on the top. Sit the dish on a jamjar lid and put boiling water in the crockpot (about a 3rd of the way up the second dish). Cook for 3-4 hours. You don't have to top the water up as you would if you were steaming it on the hob.
