well everything I've tried is nice. The fruit and veg is good - but check it a bit more carefully because its not that carefully packaged.

fresh pizzas are good, the meatballs are lovely, theres nice cheeses and deli selections of stuff, contiments are cheap and ok, cereals, pasta, bread, ciabttas are lovely, pat-baked baguettes, biscuits, sausages, gammon steaks, they have free range chickens which are also good value.

tinned basics are nice - chopped toms, beans, sweetcorn, tuna etc

only thing I've every bought and not liked is the garlic bread as it was very dry

I started to go to aldi when other half was made redundant, over 10 years ago and would never go back to tesco or asda
i also go to a farm shop for quality meat and get fresh fish as i live at the seaside
we can afford not to go but I am addicted to saving money
I love quality food don't like being ripped off
I also hate big shops with too much choice
