Can I freeze a rice, sausage and veg dish that I made too much of???????

Just made a new dish ... am not a cook, so is a big deal It's rice, chipolatas ('fresh', not frozen), peas and sweetcorn (both frozen), peppers and onion - all cooked their various ways (BOY did that take up every impliment in the kitchen ... the washing up pile is HUGE) and then lightly fried. The only thing is that I think the portion sizes are for giants and there's mountains of the stuff and so I would like to be able to freeze it and then defrost it and re-cook it as and when I need it ... woffle, woffle ...

Can I do that without poisoning a DC?!

TIA, as always.

I would say so, yes

yes, but make sure the rice is reheated until piping hot when you re-use it - poorly reheatd rice causese loads of food poisoning! also ensure it is fully cooled before freezing.

Brilliant - thank you so much. Will start dividing it up into plastic tubes then!
