Easyish, portable pudding ideas to take to sister's house for NYDay serving 10

Need some ideas. Must be something I can transport easily in the car without it falling apart. Must not require enormous skill! Nuts not allowed as one person is allergic.

Had crumble recently so might be nice to do something different.

Nigellas chocolate molten babycakes.
Delicious and can make in advance. I put clingfilm over each pud, put them all in tupperware tub and keep upright to transport.
Pop in oven for 10 minutes.
I can post up recipe if you like.

I took my white chocolate cheesecake with me for christmas day pudding (along with 7 other puddings )

its really easy to transport - just leave it in the tin till you get there then pop it on a plate

and its alway fought over as its lush

Good quality Brownies - the Nigella recipe is ace. Leave them in the tin while travelling and do the presentation bit when you're there.

white chocolate cheesecake

How about delia's truffle torte? Its easy although you would need to go to a pharmacy for the liquid glucose. You can make it,freeze it and then transport it frozen.

pavlova. one meringue case, one box fresh berries, one carton whipping cream or one of those squirty creams. Assemble there.

dizzydixies · 28/12/2008 21:15

my pavlova didn't travel that well in the car on Christmas day - didn't matter one bit once everything was piled on top and it was demolished too

white choc cheesecake just looked tidier iyswim?!?

mynewnickname · 29/12/2008 10:42

Sorry mynewnickname I didn't post up before now, I have only just had a chance to get back on mumsnet. Big apologies, I will post up soon for future use (although I know totally useless for NYE now)
