Dh fancies making this for his contribution to the Christmas dinner, for our starter....but what and how?!

Does it need a dressing, what do you do with the figs?
Help!!

Balsamic vinegar would go nicely, as would walnuts and prosciutto, and maybe rocket too... or is that too classic ?

You could do them warm with melted goat's cheese on top too.

ooh I love balsamic so that sounds good - would you 'dilute' it with olive oil?
Unfortunately both walnuts and proscuitto are not going to work due to nut allergic diner and several veggies! Rocket would be lovely - happy with that.

Ok so, rocket, figs, warm goats cheese crumbled over it and a balsamic dressing?

i love parma ham wiht goat cheese and sundried tom. nigella had a version with dried fig, if you can find one not too chewy.

Yes, I would prbably mix a nice olive oil with balsamic. Sounds scrummy .
