Can anybody help. Made a mano freeze or sorbet a few years ago at Christmas and have been asked to make again. Cannot remember the recipe or where I got it, I would have thought maybe Good Food magazine but maybe not. Anybody have any ideas? All brain cells have left home here.
Grateful thanks for any suggestions.

James Martin has one.

3 fresh mangos, peeled, stones removed
250g icing sugar, sifted
2 lemons, juice only

Roughly chop the mango flesh and place into a food processor with the icing sugar and lemon juice. Blend to a purée.
Transfer the mixture into an ice cream machine and churn to freeze, according to manufacturer's instructions.
Once frozen, remove and place into a container. Cover and store in the freezer until ready to serve. It will keep for a couple of months.

Does that sound right?

It's so easy, if you don't like it too sweet or if the mangoes are especially sweet then start with less sugar, you can always add a little more if you need it.

2 mangoes
1 cup of green tea with about 4 or 5 tsps of sugar dissolved in it
juice of one lime

Liquidise everything together. Taste and if necessary add more sugar dissolved in a little water.

Put into freezer for about an hour until still mostly liquid but with lots of crystals. Liquidise again until smooth and return to freezer (in individual containers if preferred).

Remove at least 10 mins before serving to soften.
