sainsbury's pork, sage and onion stuffed chicken. has odd smell and use by date today is it safe?.. HELP!

use by date is today, has been in the fridge since tuesday and just put it in the oven, but when i opened the packaging there was a strong meaty smell...

does that mean the chicken was off???

it's in the oven now, will it be safe to eat in 2 hours??

ok if in doubt i am chucking it out!! now what to have with our veg and roasties!! hmmm

Surely, the 'meaty' smell would of been the pork stuffing?

You can really tell when a chicken is off imo-it's rank.
