I thought I did last year but having already cocked up a batch of fudge and some coconut ice in the last two days I don't want to screw up again!

TIA

I tried it once with milk choc. Very sickly. Theres so much sugar in there already its better to use the really bitter stuff. I aslo used pistachios in their shells - took bloddy ageg to shell them and pick all the brown dusty stuff off! Good luck...

350g plain chocolate
397g can of condensed milk
30 g of butter
pinch salt

Melt all the above together gently.

Add 150g pistachio nuts.

Pour into a tin and refrigerate.

You can find it on bbc food website.

I made these for presents last year. They were delicious. I used a mix of green and blacks milk and plain. Their milk is a bit darker than usual though.

i used a combo of milk and plain choc, and pecans instead of pistachios, just because I didn't have pistachios in the cupboard. Tasted fine to me.
