Keep tonight super simple - buy milk and something you can whip up in a heartbeat... how do you feel about baked beans jazzed up with tomatoes and bacon?

Then, go to tesco or waitrose or whoever you like for online shopping and take advantage of being in the office alone to do a good comprehensive online shop for delivery tomorrow!

Good luck. Don't let it get you down. It can be exhausting sometimes.

It's that time of year isn't it.
I was up late doing more wrapping.
DD2 has bladder infection.
DD1 being difficult (has SN's)
So much to do, time running out.
Tuired, PMT, no help in office, no food in house.
It's all about me. DP ok but not great and if I don't do it, organise it etc it doesn't yet done.
Have no idea what I'm going to supermarket for other than t-bags and milk but know I haven'y done a shop since the girlks party food on Friday.
Am exhausted and ratty. HATE PMT and doing everything.

ohhhh having a right foot stomping cross silly moment!

Thanks for being kind Deck, xxx

Definitely embrace online food shopping. For tonight, how about omelettes? I'm feeling truly rough so I'm doing cheese and ham omelettes all gooey and cheesey, hmmmm nice and comforting!

ComeOVeneer · 16/12/2008 13:33

OH THom, what a pain. I agree can you find a window to do an internet shop? Have you got some time off over christmas to recharge?

ComeOVeneer · 16/12/2008 13:33

What about baked pots for supper?

KbearingGiftsWeTraverseAfar · 16/12/2008 13:34

I feel overwhelmed like this sometimes. You need to write a list of the things you need to get today, have omelettes or soup and crusty bread for dinner or sausage and chips - no one will starve, keep it simple.

Tomorrow you will be able to cope better with the other things you need to do.

TAKE YOUR LUNCHBREAK - shop a bit, walk around a bit - this will help general frame of mind. Buy a new lipstick for yourself or some bubble bath, this will also help!

Haylstones · 16/12/2008 13:36

I'm feeling really rough today but knew I had to buy some food so I just got a couple of pizzas and some crusty bread and will either do an online shop or go back tomorrow
of I feel better
Sorry you're feeling like this

ThomcatIsForLifeNotJustForXmas · 16/12/2008 14:47

Will be drinking my own body weight in wine tonight while wrapping pressies.

Food bought. Kids will eat and DP has basic essentials to cook for me tonight , and tomorrow

Wispa bar consumed. Double choc chip cookies on my desk and kettle boling!

Have awful shitty load of work to do, letting down a load of angry press but hey ho.
