Rigatoni al forno from Nigella's Feast ... any good?

I've got a crowd coming for drinks and supper on Friday and this looks easy as I can make most of it the day before and then assemble before they arrive.

Does it taste good?

Yes I have made it and it was good - sort of comfort foody!

Her chili recipe is fantastic, with or without the cornbread topping. And the veggie version is perhaps even nicer!

Yes: the veggie chilli is lovely; although I've yet to make the topping.

OK, thanks for the advice - think I may switch to the chilli which I made once before. I remember I halved the quantities because I had 10 people and it only just went round (small portions and no seconds.) But now I know you can't double/half recipes and expect it to work - the mystery of catering!

I was planning on doing meat and veggie version but don't think I'll need that much and turns out there are no veggies coming ... so think I'll just do meat one.
