My dc are going back onto packed lunches after xmas.

In recent months my diet has gone downhill somewhat and theirs has too, although not to the same extent.

I am making plans to change the way we eat etc, but I would like to give them a fruit smoothie in with their lunch every day just to help build them back up the their 5 a day.

They like the Innocent smoothies, but x3 children, 5 days a week = too much money.

Are they any cheaper, but just as good alternatives ??

Oh, I am planning on making my own once I buy a blender in the sales after xmas, but this might be a bit hit and miss at first.

Hi, I found the "Don Simon" smoothies at asda to be very good, in termos of nothing added and them being pure fruit smoothies, have a look next time you go to Asda, they are at the long life juice secion currently two packs of 3 for £1.50. My ds loves them.

LOL I was just coming back to this thread to ask if anyone had tried those exact ones.

Thanks Paow, sounds like they are worth trying then.
