We have a gas stove and needless to say, it has two temperatures - "Heat of the Sun" and "Almost Heat of the Sun". I was trying to make a stew on the weekend and it was more boiled than gently simmered for hours. Are there fancy gadgets to help me either reduce the temp or raise my pot so that it doesn't matter?
I'm going to have a look at Lakeland but I don't even know what to look for!
